A recruiting website with jobs the owner manages themselves
Tom Trese Networking recruits for the electrical power industry, especially electrical testing technicians, as well as manufacturing, IT and construction. Its website needed to put the power industry first and make it easy for both employers and candidates to get in touch.

The problem
The business was moving its focus to recruiting for power and energy, and electrical testing in particular. It wanted a website that put that first, read clearly on every page and kept one consistent look throughout.
What we did
- Agreed the structure first. Simple sketches of every page, then three design styles to choose from, so the layout was settled before anything was built.
- Power and energy first. A new Power and Energy page at the top of the industries, with the other industries kept alongside.
- Clear paths for both sides. Find Talent for employers and Get Hired for candidates, with buttons to book a call throughout.
- Jobs the owner manages. They can add, edit and remove power industry jobs on their own site. Each job has its own page and an application form that emails them the candidate’s resume. Every other job still goes to their existing jobs board.
- A resume form that stays compliant. Candidates can send a resume even when there’s no job to suit them, and the permission wording for text messages meets the rules for sending them.
The result
The new site went live in October 2026, about a month after we started. The owner posts their own power industry jobs and gets applications straight to their inbox.
