WordPress development and support for Rexel UK

Rexel is a global electrical distributor, and its UK business is based in Birmingham. It runs websites for several trade brands and a corporate site. We’ve worked alongside their in-house team through a multi-brand website project, the move to a new website system and the years since.

The problem

Rexel UK runs a separate website for each of its trade brands. The business wanted its team to manage and update all of them themselves, instead of relying on developers for every change.

What we did

One design for six brands. We designed a single website design that could be rolled out across all six of their brands, with each one keeping its own logo, fonts, colours and content. Every brand still looked like itself, but the team managed them all the same way, so updates were quicker and nothing had to be built twice.
Support through the next system. When the brands later moved to a new website system, we supported some of its customer account features.
The corporate website. We look after Rexel UK’s corporate WordPress site with ongoing monthly support.

The result

We’ve worked with Rexel UK for the best part of a decade. The business has kept the same WordPress support through two changes of website system, and our monthly support is still in place today.
